Møkster vessels secure top positions in the Maress Summer Campaign
In the main competition, Stril Barents was named the PSV vessel with the highest efficiency improvement overall. Stril Server had the lowest consumption in DP mode of all CSVs. Strilmøy had the lowest consumption in both DP and Standby mode with Stril Mermaid in runner up position in standby mode. After the first month, Stril Mermaid led in transit mode and they managed to keep that lead.
As all shipping companies and all experts point out, it is the work and the actions the crew do on board that are the biggest contributors to reducing fuel consumption and sailing more efficiently. We must dare to try and think new and maybe yesterday's solutions are not tomorrow's solutions. It is therefore important that good solutions are passed on to the entire shipping company.
